For those drivers for whom the standard GTR isn’t track focused enough, Nissan has launched their Track Pack in the UK. As one would expect from a ‘track pack’, it gives the car stiffer springs and dampers which are adjustable via the central console-mounted switch, should one require a more compliant ride when not on a track. The engine has been left untouched and it still puts out around 550 hp as in the standard car.
In the interest of overall weight reduction, the two back seats have been removed and the front sports seats are partly trimmed in leather and partly with fabric.

Exterior changes are limited to new six-spoke rims which are 10 kg (22 lbs) lighter than the standard-fit wheels. The new black rims set the car apart from lesser models and the eagle-eyed among you may notice the ducts built into the front splitter which are used to cool the brakes. The car also get similar ducts inside the rear wheelarches also for the purpose of cooling the brakes.

The cars fitted with the Track Pack are £10,000 (€12.230) dearer than the standard version and are currently only available in the UK and Japan in right-hand drive form. Nissan has confirmed that left-hand drive versions will be offered later this year in other markets.
