Nissan GT-R Sport Turismo Rendered as the Forbidden Wagon

The current incarnation of the Nissan GT-R has been with us for about one decade now. And it's more than a bit ironic to remember that the Japanese automaker initially though it could keep tuners at bay by throwing a number of warranty voiding warnings.

In the ten years that have passed, the aftermarket realm has made sustained efforts to transform the R35 into one of the meanest platforms the drag racing realm has ever seen. As a result, Godzilla, which started out in life as an 11-second car is now a 6s animal. The world's angriest GT-Rs now pack north of 3,000 horses at the crank, while featuring sequential trannies.

However, the virtual world hasn't been exactly asleep, with tons and tons of extreme GT-R renderings having landed in our inbox.

The latest example of the sort can be seen above, with this pixel play being a rather extreme proposal. We're looking at a GT-R that has been taken down the wagon route.

In our book, this is a tale that needs a Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo mention - since the Zuffenhausen machine is now popularising wagons, the demand for a Nissan such as the one rendered here might just be out there.

Back in 2014, we mentioned why Nissan should turn the GT-R into a sub-brand and a family-friendly version sounds like a tempting proposal.

Of course, we shouldn't take this render all that seriously. For one thing, the pixel play, which comes from digital artist Yasid Oozeear, includes plenty of extreme elements that should define a track-confined machine.

From the overly aggressive aero bits on the car, through the wheel and tire package, to the door mirrors, there are plenty of goodies that simply scream "race me".goodies that simply scream "race me".

P.S.: We couldn't help but add an image of an actual GT-R Wagon above, with this being an aftermarket creature we showed you back in 2009.
