This next video shows a Nissan GT-R driver going into a corner way too fast. His car eats grass, hits a hill and is sent tumbling and rolling into a ravine. It's not pretty.
There's no information about the venue this is happening at, but we thing it's the Knynsa Hill Climb in South Africa. We found another video from the Renault-sponsored even which shows a number of other GT-R setting off. Update: We've received details from one of our readers. It appears that the GT-R crashed in South Africa, like we said, but not at the Knysna Hill Climb. The incident was actually during the Long Tom Hill Climb in Sabie, a forestry town situated on the banks of the Sabie River in Mpumalanga, South Africa. The race took place on January 25th and 26th an covered 6.3 km.
"Baard (47), who had also won the 2011 Knysna Hill Climb, crashed his Nissan GT-R on Saturday during the fourth run. There were no casualties and Baard attended the prize-giving ceremony on Sunday to receive his trophy.
