Godzilla arrived in the UK under Nismo guise after Nissan delivered the first GT-R Nismo to a client in the United Kingdom, along with a surprise for the lucky man.

Owning a brand-new 600 HP Nissan GT-R Nismo is no piece of cake task, so Nissan wanted to make sure the first British clients for the Nismo-blessed Godzilla knows how to treat the supercar without stepping on its tail.

So before even getting close to seeing the GT-R Nismo’s horns, Nick Coombes received a one-to-one track tutorial in the company of Nissan Motorsports’ racing driver Jann Mardenborough.

In case the name doesn’t ring any bells, the pilot is a GT Academy graduate and will race Nissan’s GT-R LM Nismo during this year’s Le Mans 24 Hours race. So yeah, that makes him the perfect choice when it comes to giving lessons on how to drive a £125,000 ($193,919) supercar that puts exotic Lamborghinis and Ferraris to shame on any given day.

“Once you’ve owned a GT-R nothing else will do. This is my third GT-R and as soon as I knew the GT-R Nismo was being made I knew I had to have one,” said Mr. Coombes, before adding that “being the first customer in the UK to take delivery just makes the thrill of owning this incredible car even more special.”

There’s a downfall to this as well, because Nissan decided to ship only 24 GT-R Nismos in the United Kingdom, so the list of people having a blast while getting the best out of Godzilla’s twin-turbo 3.8-liter 600 hp engine is a rather select one. And by the way, all the aforementioned GT-Rs have already been sold. But moving to another country could be worth it, don’t you think?
