When the R35 Nissan GT-R came around back in 2007, it was amazing to see the thing duke it out with supercars for sportscar money. Of course, with the passing of time, Godzilla went from predator to prey and here we are, talking about a sleeper truck duking it out with a GT-R.
To be more precise, the Nissan halo car we have here, which appears to be in stock condition or at least close to that, battled a senior Dodge Ram.

The workhorse we're talking about was bought for around $500 (it was actually $250 in cash and some trade bits), but it can pack a serious punch.

That's because the engine compartment of the machine now accomodates an LS coming from a 2002 GMC Sierra, with this featuring a nitrous shot - can you guess where the happy gas bottle is located? That's right: in the bed area.

This all-motor contraption required plenty of fabrication work to reach its current form, which, as is usually the case with such builds, may or may not be final.

In fact, if you're willing to check out the tale of how this truck came to be, you can head over to the 1:21 point of the clip below to see the owner talking about the work that went into the creature.

As for the battle between the Dodge Ram and the Nissan GT-R, the velocity confrontation awaits you at the 4:44 point of the clip.

Interestingly, this video also involves a second sleeper truck and despite this not being quite as much of a monster as the one descibed above, it's still worthy of your undivided attention.

We're talking about a Chevy Silverado whose owner claims he uses the machine for the daily tasks, but decided to hit the drag strip for a bit of prepped surface action.
