Nissan GT-R Drag Races Audi RS6, The Battle Is Violent

Note that the Audi didn't just engaged in one or two races and called it a day. Instead, the family-savvy monster duked it out with plenty of opponents.

Sure, the Nissan GT-R caught my eye, which is why it found in the title above, but the list of toys that fought the Audi involves brands ranging from Seat and Subaru to Plymouth and Porsche.

And it's no secret that not all of the Audi's competitors managed to match the RS6 in the decibel department, as you'll notice in the piece of footage at the bottom of the page, which portrays the adventure.

Speaking of the Audi RS6, the next-gen model is set to make its debut next month. The 2020 RS6 Avant is scheduled to make a private appearance at a dealership in Germany before the public presentation, which is set for the Frankfurt Motor Show.

A twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 with north of 600 ponies mixed with a weight reduction expected to sit at around 180 lbs (80) promises a splendid dynamic experience, while the soundtrack is at least as brutal as that of the current car.

In fact, you can sample the last aspect in the second video below (the clip on the right), which portrays the 2020 Audi RS6 prototype doing its thing on the Nurburgring.

Oh, and did I mention that the next Audi RS6 has serious chances of making it to the US market? Note that the only RS6 offered in America to date was the first-gen model, with many aficioandos wishing to see the badge returning.
