Nissan Expanding Nismo Range with RS Packs

The automotive producers are looking to integrate a part of the tuning business into their own operations in their hunt for financial resources and the latest company to make a step down this road is Nissan, which wants to expand its Nismo range.
The company currently offers suspension upgrades and a small power boost for the 370Z through its Nismo program, but in the future it wants to give us a Nismo RS range with beefier engine upgrades, as Andy Palmer, executive vice president of Nissan and head of Global Product Planning, told Inside Line. the new goodies will be offered for the next generation of the Z sports car, which is currently in the development phase.

Nismo, which stands for Nissan Motorsports International, is the Japanese carmaker’s racing division. It is highly successful on the track, having wonn every class it competed in last year, and wants to make more use of its potential for Nissan’s road cars.
