Nissan Dualis Promoted by Australia's Next Top Model

In case you didn't know this already, the Dualis is basically just the European Qashqai with a funny name. But it seem giving it a different name has also given the crossover a slip personality. It no longer wants to be a family car and has transformed into a company car for some of the most beautiful girls in the land down under.

Not only did Nissan give a full-spec Dualis for the girls to be chaufeured in at Australia's Next Top Model, but they also did a commercial which you'll be able to see below.

In other trivial news you probably don't care about, the Dualis is now available with a 1.6-liter dCi diesel engine producing 130 PS (96 kW) and 320 Nm of torque, only available with front-wheel drive and a six-speed manual. The car only needs 4.5 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers on the combined cycle, being one of the most frugal models in its class.

Of course, models don't know anything about the cost of fuel, but they seem genuinly impressed with the Dualis.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
