We don’t know too much about kids, but what we can tell you is some of them have a great imagination, especially when it comes to draw some crazy cars. Just have a look at these strange contraptions submitted for Toyota’s Dream Car Art Contest. Where will you be when the acid kicks in?
Jokes aside, Nissan Brazil put out a similar contest, in which over the course of then 10 days, parents working for the company submitted pics of their kids’ drawings with the occasion of the Children’s Day.

After being judged by the critic eyes of the jury, three of them plus a honorable mention were chosen to be turned into professional sketches by Nissan Design America Rio’s resident chief designer Rober Bauer.

"The joy of working with children is the opportunity to deal with freedom from all restrictions,” said Robert. “There are no limits when it comes to the kids' imagination. It was wonderful to share our studio with them because they are our future, and they create worlds adults could never imagine. It is an experience that brings us energy and makes us rethink our concepts."

Taking a look at the professional sketches bellow, which are gorgeous by the way, you can really see how designers can get their inspiration to shape the automotive industry even from some roughly penned lines a kid did during lunch break.
