Nissan Brazil Brings Sexy Back to the Family Minivan

We’ve tried everything to get your attention - concept cars, news of takeovers and new fuel-efficient cars. But nothing short of the new Aventador seems to be good enough for our readers lately. This might be a solution to the problem: a video ad from Nissan do Brasil for a family minivan that has all the booty shaking you could ever want.

Back in March, the company aired a commercial that angered Ford’s local branch, as it claimed the Detroit giant is charging you too much for their family cars. But while the Blue Oval only saw a Focus and a pair of engineers dressed as rappers (or rappers dressed as engineers) spending the money earned from the overpriced hatchback, we all enjoyed the curvaceous bikini-clad models.

You can never have to many of those, so Nissan is bringing them back for a new TV spot, this time for the Livina 7-seater compact minivan. What does your typical family car have to do with minivans? Well, there’s a lot of room in the back... if you catch our drift.

The five-seat MPV Livina is powered by a 1.6-liter K4M engine matted to a manual transmission or by a 1.8-liter unit with automatic transmission. It has been available in Brazil since 2009, as is it’s bigger brother the Grand Livina.

Brazil is not the first country that gets Nissan's Livina as the vehicle is already manufactured and sold in a number of countries, including China, Indonesia, Taiwan, South Africa, Malaysia and the Philippines. Moreover, the Livina family received several awards which certify its quality, including the "Best MPV/Station Wagon 2008 (South Africa)," "The World's Most Beautiful Automobile - China MPV segment 2007" and the "Best Small MPV Monocoque 2008 (Indonesian Car of the Year)”.
