Nissan and Infiniti Prepare for the 2010 Chicago Auto Show

With the 2010 Chicago Auto Show just a week away, Nissan and Inifinti both confirmed their presence for the 21st edition of the auto event. Starting on February 12, with the prior two days opened for press, the Chicago Auto show is the largest automotive display event in North America and the third in the world, after Frankfurt and Paris respectively.

"We're very pleased Nissan and Infiniti have made the decision to showcase their vehicles at the nation's most influential consumer auto event," said John Phelan, 2010 Chicago Auto Show chairman.

"The incredible labor force at McCormick Place will be able to help coordinate and execute the additional construction, and will have it standing tall in time for our two-day media preview and 10-day public run," added Phelan. "Both prospective and existing Nissan and Infiniti customers will be able to view the latest rolling style and technology that has made them significant forces in the automotive world."

Nissan has readied the new 2011 370Z 40th Anniversary Edition, which will be unveiled for the first time anywhere. On the other hand, among the two brands' most successful models, Infiniti specially prepared the showcase of the all-new 2011 M executive mid-size sedan, which will go on sale this spring.

"All of our dealers are thrilled to be participating in this remarkable show," said Saul Rosen, owner, Rosen Nissan of Gurnee, Ill., and a former chairman of the Nissan National Dealer Advisory Board. "We're pleased that the decision was made. This show sells cars -- and that's something everyone wants to see."

Nissan recently closed the January sales result ahead of Chrysler, securing a 9.0% market share. The 2010 Chicago Auto Show (CAS) will be opened for public from February 12-21, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. (10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on the 21st) and you can find out more about the event at www.chicagoautoshow.com.
