Purely from a performance angle, the Nissan Z car is undergoing its mid-life crisis. However, this remains one of the most distinctive and iconic models made in Japan over the past decade, which makes it a prime target for tuners.
We know the guys at AIMGAIN for their totally crazy Prius and Toyobaru body kits, but it seems they have a Nissan fetish as well. This stanced 370Z is way crazier than anything else out there, even the official Nismo version.
Seeing this lowrider for the first time is like hearing an approaching typhoon or seeing thunder strike in the middle of the night.
So what's going on? The kit is like one of those non-reversible Rocket Bunny ones. Plastic inserts are bolted straight into the bodywork, which means this 370Z is kind of stuck with this look, like a permanent tattoo.
At the front, the bumper is the stock one, but you wouldn't notice. A huge hole was cut for a larger grille, and a black spoiler accompanies smaller winglets on the side. After that come the inserts for the front bumper, which extend about 5 cm (2 inches) on either side, having a vented area at the back, just like a DTM race car.
Side skirts have been installed to make the Z appear even lower while the rear features deep-dish alloys inside massive wings. The clearances are so small that we're pretty sure air suspension has been fitted. The last touches are a diffuser and a trunk lip spoiler.
Make no mistake, whatever Nissan has in store for the successor model, the 370Z will remain a sought after sportscar in the Japanese aftermarket community.
