Nissan 370Z Long Nose Conversion Is V12 Material, Sits Low

Let's say you grab yourself a brand new sportscar or supercar. Sure, you might be able to impress your friends or colleagues, but, unless it's something along the lines of a Koenigsegg Jesko, your chances of breaking the Internet are pretty slim. That's because social media has taken the custom car culture to new heights, with Instagram being all about modding and customization these days. And the Nissan 370Z rendering sitting before us is an example as good as any.

The aging Z car has been given a Long Nose conversion. In theory, this should come in order to allow the machine to accommodate a V12, but we can't see under the hood, so we'll stick to the aesthetics.

Nevertheless, Yasid Oozzear, the digital artist behind this, sought inspiration in British developer Kahn's Long Nose Lande Rover Defenders when coming up with this contraptions, as well as others of its kind.

The 370Z also follows another trend that appears to be getting stronger by the season and it all has to do with the #slammed subculture.

And here's to hoping there's an air suspension in there, so one could actually use the toy on the street. Oh, and by the way, here' a 2020 Toyota Supra featuring such a setup, with this probably being the first in the world to pack such a setup.

Now, one camp this Z doesn't belong to is the one involving Longtail conversions. But if you're into that kind of thing, perhaps this McLaren 720 LT render, which somehow previews an upcoming production model, will float your boat. Of course, this elongated posterior machine is wilder than any customisation package on the market. And this is precisely the reason for which we might just get to see it morphing into a real-world aero package in the future.

PS: In case you're curious about the future of the aging Z platform, you should know Nissan has promissed a successor to the 370Z, with the same being true for the not-exactly-young R35 GT-R.
