Nissan has issued a recall that affects the 2011 Nissan 370Z and its sister, the Infiniti G37. The affected cars were built this summer, between July 2nd and August 29, and the manufacturer says there are 1,788 in the United States alone.
The issue that prompted the recall has to do with the an error of programming with the power window switch controller in some vehicles. If you’re concerned that the windows won’t work, don’t be, but if you are... attached to your fingers... you should be concerned. The faulty programing might not recognize a body part or object that is stuck in the window while the automatic closing button is triggered.

For further information contact the NHTSA at 1-888-327-4236 (reference recall campaign number 11V538000) or Nissan at 1800-647-7261 or Infiniti at 1-800-662-6200.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
