The Nissan 350Z makes for a respectable drift car, obviously with the right kind of investment (sadly, the stock setup requires quite a lot of work to dance). Of course, when setting out to build such a drift car, one must consider the tires. Forums are loaded with questions/answers on the matter, but the driver of this Z came up with something nobody has ever thought of: drifting on the rims!
No, this isn't one of those elaborate render jobs that pass as the real deal. Instead, we're looking at the owner of a 350Z who thinks that no tires are the best tires for pulling some donuts, as you'll notice in the first clip below.
And while the oddball-grade soundtrack of the stunt doesn't surprise us (have you ever dragged a pan across the floor? then you'll be familiar with this), you won't get to see the kind of sparks that show up when something like this happens in GTA, for instance.
But wait, there's more. Apparently, having a Nissan sportscar with bare rims also helps when you want to crack open a cold one.
So, what's with all the basing? Well, I'll let the owner explain this to you: "Instead of upgrading like most people... I bought this piece of s**t, and imma turn it into a bigger piece of shit, time to make this into a drift missile,"
You see, the aficionado, who owned a supped-up 350Z, apparently decided to buy this white example and turn into into a drift missile (here's a rendering portraying the genre for those of you asking questions right now). Perhaps he was tired of all the stress generated by taking care of his mint Z car.
So why not generate some original content along the way? Check out the man beating the hell out of the Z (apparently with minimal consequences) in the clips below.
Oh, and don't forget to steer clear of such stunts at home...
