Never forgotten, always remembered – the Nissan Z has always had the right combination of characteristics and unlike many other Japanese sportscars is enjoying long life and prosperity. Like the Golf GTI, the Z has legions of loyal fans who like nothing more than to polish perfection into their rides.
This next tuning project comes from Wheels Performance, who owns its very own example of the 370Z Nismo. With 350 horsepower and a host of suspension upgrades, the Nismo badge turns our coupe into a valuable track tool. However, the wheel shop though it could use more class.

And so they changed the stock Z to bright red and fitted it with a new set of Vossen VFS-2 wheels in satin bronze for contrast. These aren't just any wheels though, since they measure 20x12 inches at the rear of the car, a size you usually see on V12-powered supercars. It's overkill on the Nissan, but beauty and exaggerations sometimes go hand in hand.

"The front has a much more aggressive face with the mid concave compared to the previous flat concave. It really fills out the deep wheel wells on this Nismo Z!" say Vossen wheels, the makers of these awesome custom rims.

Thanks to a few other touches to the suspension and exhaust system, the end result is the stuff of envy for any 370Z owner, especially since the Nismo body kit took things to a whole new level of desirability.
