Back in the days, taking a selfie involved getting friendly with a good painter and standing still for a couple of hours or so, but in this day and age it has evolved so much that you can even take a selfie video while behind the wheel of a moving car, which is obviously one of the most idiotic things you can do when driving.
Now, what would you say about taking a selfie video while behind the wheel of a 1950s Grand Prix car that is worth millions and can only be driven by the most skilled drivers out there?

That doesn't sound so idiotic after all, especially when the driver is none other than Nico Rosberg, while the car in question is a Mercedes-Benz W196 R from 1954, of which only only of a handful of examples still exist, not to mention the fact that the only private model in the world currently holds the record for the world's most expensive car.

As a matter of fact, what Nico did, with the help of a small camera holder which he operated with his right hand, is actually a pretty long list of shades of cool.

Unfortunately, the resulting selfie video is a bit underwhelming to watch, especially since the glorious inline six engine sound is a bit muffled down by the wind noise.

Even so, our opinion is that this is most definitely a worthy competitor for the unofficial “Selfie of the year 2014” award, what do you guys think? Next time, we would like to see someone take a selfie video of them driving the mighty Mercedes-Benz T80.
