Ever since the AMG-Ducati deal went sour thanks to those meddling Audi kids, the Affalterbach performance car brand hasn't stopped thinking about branching into the two-wheel type of transportation business.
We can't otherwise explain the choice of vehicles for the Mercedes-AMG promo that can be viewed bellow.
So, in one corner we have Mercedes-AMG Petronas driver Nico Rosberg, who for some reason decides to take a Mercedes-Benz G 65 AMG monster out for some rock quarry fun.
In the other corner we have Rebecca Bianchi, a rider in the CIV 2013 (Campionato Italiano di Velocita) series, who was just minding her own business on the recently-launched MV Agusta Rivale when Nico gives her a “Let's go!” look from the height of the G 65 AMG driving seat.
Next thing you know, they're both having an impromptu race on a melancholic pop-ish song in a quarry. How fitting!
Naturally, since this is an AMG marketing video, the G 65 AMG driven by Rosberg is the main hero of the video, but the MV Agusta Rivale sidekick isn't too bad itself, not to mention its rider.
