Nicky Hayden Has Wrist Surgery, No Boob Job

Former MotoGP world champion Nick Hayden underwent successful surgery a couple of days ago, following problems with his right hand, which caused him a few difficulties during the second half of the 2010 season. The factory Ducati MotoGP racer went to Dr. Arthur Ting in Fremont, California, to relieve him from the symptoms related to Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

Hayden's longtime surgeon performed the operation on the former AMA Superbike champion's right wrist, but it seems the rider was left unsupervised for a while. He is known as an active Twitter user, which also gave us the opportunity to find out some inside info on the intervention.

He used his phone to take a picture of himself before going into surgery, of which he tweeted: “This isn't a good look... Time for a small end of season tune up...”

The American racer also had something to say about the hot nurses. Hayden Tweeted: “Getting a boob job… Lol O boy think the drugs are kicking in cuz all these nurses are 10′s…”  We don’t know whether all this happened before or after he got the sedation medicine, but it sure was funny.

Hayden is scheduled to ride his Ducati Desmosedici MotoGP bike is February 1, at Sepang, in Malaysia, which means he has enough time to have a complete recovery to full fitness. He is now home getting ready for the holidays.

“Surgery went according to plan. Thanks to everybody for asking. Now Home for thanksgiving holiday, I like the sound of that!!!”
Hayden Tweeted.

The Carpal tunnel is a serious condition that affects many veteran riders. In fact, the syndrome essentially ended the GP career of triple world champion Freddie Spencer.
