With Santa getting his sleigh ready and the eggnog being served, famous people out there are seen rushing into last minute shopping sprees. Since they are so busy keeping their lives interesting and spotlights-worthy all the time, the next 48 hours are all about celebrities rushing in their luxury cars buying gifts.
“Oh the weather outside is frightful, But the fire is so delightful” and since you’re famous and rich, why not take a last trip to Barneys. Well, we didn’t get the rhyme quite right, but you get the point.
Los Angeles Laker basketball star Nick Young was pictured doing some last minute Christmas shopping at Barneys New York in Beverly Hills, California, yesterday. Nick took a special car to do the job, which is the 1962 Chevrolet Impala he got from his girlfriend Iggy Azelea for... well, for Christmas.
It was about two weeks ago when it was announced the Aussie rapper was placed at number one on Billboard Year-End’s Top New Artists chart. And that comes just after Azalea has received four nominations at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist, Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Groups Performance for “Fancy” and Best Rap Album for The New Classic.
In other words, we’re guessing it’s going to be quite difficult for Young to compensate with the gift she got him for Christmas last time. Moreover, not only is Iggy rich enough to buy basically any car she wants, but it was less than six months ago she got herself a new ride. We broke the story this October, when the 24-years old singer first showed her fans the new black G-Wagon she got.
On the other hand, however, she does like that blue Ferrari California her boyfriend owns, so maybe a new Ferrari could make for a decent gift for this Christmas. Still, we’re quite sure Nick won’t find that at Barneys...
