We all know him as Beast from the X-Men: First Class and Days of Future Past. However, 24-year old actor Nicholas Hoult has talent beyond his years and is rapidly rising to fame among Hollywood's actors.
Perhaps not as important as his breakout role in 2002's About a Boy, Hoult's acting for Jaguar's latest "British Villains" marketing campaign is top-notch.
In a spot the Brits unveiled last week, Nicolas plays a driven young man with a brain that can easily figure out all things technological, just like Dr. Hank McCoy / Beast.
As was the case during this year's Super Bowl, world domination is still on Jaguar's mind. However, this time, the company is able to include the new XE sedan in its plans.
“In casting Hoult, a young, good-looking and charismatic actor with just the right amount of eccentric British charm, we found our boy genius,” Matt Page, the creative director of commercial agency Spark44 shared. “He plays the role of the Villain’s behind-the-scenes technology wiz, providing his bosses with the right equipment for their mission, Jaguar cars, and in doing so, he wittily describes the innovation and technology that makes our cars feel so alive.”
Nicolas's version of the British Villain is just as good as the one played Tom Hiddlestone, whom you might know as Loki from Marvel's Thor movies. However, the company's very bold marketing campaign is doing little to bolster their sales. As if being outsold by Audi or BMW in its domestic market wasn't enough, Jaguar was recently also overtaken in UK sales by Romanian budget brand Dacia.

What "Beast" is up to these days
We're not quite sure which villainous movie character Jaguar is using to justify Hoult's "Good to Be Bad". However, he may play a big negative role in the upcoming movie Young Ones, set in a post-apocalyptic future where water is hard to find. His personal life is also the talk of the town, as the famous Jennifer Lawrence leaked iPhone photos were, theoretically, sent to him. Gossip is also placing him in the arms of Twilight actress Kristen Steward, who has reportedly split ways with Robert Pattinson once again. If you're into clearly defined British accents or simply love to watch every F-Type Coupe clip ever made, just check out the videos below.
