NFL Star Jonny Football Switched Nissan Titan for a New GT-R

Jonathan Paul Manziel, best known by his nickname “Johnny Football”, has recently switched his old Nissan Titan pick-up truck for a brand new GT-R. Cleveland Browns’ quarterback is known for his hustler lifestyle he has off field, so we’re pretty sure fans will definitely like his new ride, as much as we like it.

He recently traded his Nissan Titan for the company’s supercar, the GT-R, which he picked up at Airport Nissan in Cleveland, Ohio, a shop part of The Collection Auto Group. He posted an image of the steering wheel on his Instagram account quoting: “Had to give my baby a wash after a great day of practice coming off the bye week. S/o to @ClevelandNissan and Bernie for the dream car.”

Reports are that he also autographed the dash of his old ride before sealing the deal, just to make the car a bit more attractive to buyers. However, because of that the dealership is now asking $43,720 for the ride, which is quite the charge. As to Johnny’s new GT-R, we’re looking at a special Black Edition with a black interior.

It might not stand for our favorite car, but the 2-door sports coupe is quite the ride. The GT-R is currently the only model built on Nissan’s Premium Midship (PM) platform, an evolution of the Front Midship architecture introduced in its 2011 Skyline. It’s powered by a 3.8-liter V6 engine that produces a manufacturer-claimed output of 485 horsepower and 434 lb-ft (588 Nm). The engine also meets California Air Resources Board Ultra Low Emission Vehicle.
