After rumors about the IS F sedan being discontinued, the automaker decided to keep it in production, and despite the fact that the 2014 IS sedan is already on sale for quite some time, the F version is still based on the outgoing sedan model.
However, we know that the automaker is working on the next IS F, which, according to current-generation Lexus IS F chief engineer Yukihiro Yaguchi, will borrow a lot from the Lexus IS F CCS-R racecar.
“Next-generation benchmark is this car [IS F CCS-R] … for handling and acceleration performance,” Yaguchi-san begins. “This car is every man can drive it. It’s approachable for a wide range.”
But until the new IS F will arrive, take a look at how Mag-X thinks it will look like in the picture here. As with the outgoing generation, they didn’t over-encumbered it with body parts and flashy accessories, keeping it classy but a bit more fierce-looking through those big side vents and quad stacked exhaust.
