According to Road and Track, the next-generation SVT Mustang will go “all-motor”, just like the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, which means we’ll see a lot more cubic inches in the 2015 Mustang-based SVT. Additionally, our source also claims that the next SVT will drop its Shelby name in favor of a more familiar moniker, such as Cobra.

Speaking of the 2015 Ford Mustang, a camouflaged prototype of the next-gen Blue Oval-badged pony was finally caught in full by our spy photographers, revealing some styling cues taken from the Evos concept.

As we already mentioned several times, the 2015 Mustang will gain a turbocharged four-cylinder engine and an independent rear suspension. The sixth-generation musclecar is expected to be unwrapped at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show.
