According to Auto Motor Und Sport, which spoke to Barb Samardzich, head of development for Ford Europe, the next ‘Stang will be able to meet EU pedestrian safety regulation, even though the decision to offer the vehicle on the Old Continents hasn’t been taken yet.
In addition to that, Popular Hot Rodding has gathered info from many sources and tells us that the pony car could get an independent rear suspension, a new styling direction and myabe even a hybrid powertrain, which means that it might also be offered in Japan, not just Europe.
