New Zealand Granny Buys Toyota GT 86

Jocelyn Northcott was among the first New Zealanders to have bought a Toyota GT 86 last year when the model hit the local market.
So far, everything seems OK, but the fact that the lady is 72-years-old caused a stir for a short time after a motoring journalist said she was too old to buy such a car and that would spoil the vehicle’s image.

But for Jocelyn, a brand new GT 86 was the ultimate driving machine to have and she was supported on Facebook by more than 200 auto journalists.

She really seem to be into sportcars, as her first car was a Triumph Herald. She also said that normal compact cars are not for her and she always liked to drive fast. Moreover, she got her GT 86 with a rear view camera and a nice custom stripe on the sides, leaving people pretty shocked when she parks and gets out.
