According to latest reports, Toyota June sales overpassed the rivals' in New Zealand.
According to Motor Trade Association (MTA), more than 400 new Toyota Corolla were delivered to New Zealand customers during last month - well over models sold by other automakers in the region.

The Toyota Corolla was followed closely by the RAV4 model, with 343 units sold, enabling the Japanese automaker to claim 20 percent of the new passenger car sales market.

"Local buyers are displaying a real appetite to upgrade and renew their vehicles - if that helps to modernize the fleet overall, then that has to be a good thing." said MTA spokesman Ian Stronach.

The top three was completed by Hyundai, with 312 sold Santa Fe models, while the Suzuki Swift represented the consumer’s choice when it comes to buying a second hand car.
