One of the most gifted basketball players in U.S., NY Knicks’ small forward recently celebrated his 30-year anniversary. Besides throwing a crazy party with celebrities like Nas and Swizz Beatz invited, he was surprised with a Corvette Stingray as a gift from his wife, La La.
In case you’re wondering whether Carmelo will be striking for the Celtics next season, that we can’t tell. But what we can do is talk about his party, which we heard was really cool. We’re talking celebrities, cars and beauties, and on the top of it all a perfect gift.
His beautiful wife, La La, posted a picture with her sitting on the hood of Carmelo’s badass black Stingray, the gift she nicely wrapped in a red knot: “I met u when u were 19... fell in love with u when u were 20... & Today we celebrate your 30th Birthday! Hope you enjoy ur new Corvette Stingray from me with all my love!!”
And what that gift is... Named 2014 North American car of the year, this black beast will grudge its 460 horsepower motor and get to the 60 mph (97 km/h) in 3.8 seconds. Looking at NY Knick’s small forward’s car we think this one is not even the starting price model, which costs $53,000 on the U.S. market.
In fact, the Stingray Carmelo got from his beautiful wife was customized over at the Dancy Auto Group. And that wasn't even the only crazy gift this fellow got for his 30-years anniversary. After La La surprised him with the car and put a big smile on his face, Anthony was also gifted with an engraved Methselah of Dom Perignong Vintage 1998, the champagne that will cost about half of what the fast-car costed.
Now that is what you call a celebrity’s party.
