Americans have taken a liking to Fiat’s baby offering, and while sales of the little Italian aren’t breaking records, it is nevertheless selling at a decent rate, even though it’s not as high as first planned. To get the ball rolling (faster), Fiat have launched a new and rather amusing commercial where 500s drive themselves into the water to ‘swim’ for the US.
While this isn’t accurate as the US-bound 500 is built in Mexico, it is nevertheless an amusing commercial by Fiat, and at least it doesn’t use large breasts to draw an audience. We say that this one minute clip will definitely boost the 500’s appeal Stateside and maybe make it reach the sales figures first envisioned by Fiat. We hope they keep this up and continue to provide fun and entertaining commercials.
