There are plenty of tuning houses out there, each offering to customize your car inside and out in the most outrageous ways, but one of the most rapidly expanding of them has got to be Vilner.
The Bulgarian company started work in 1996, but they didn't gain international fame all that quickly. In later years, though, they have been regularly featuring on the most important automotive websites with their bold creations.

Their work is mostly characterized by a very high attention to detail and the use of high-quality materials. Like any tuner, they've had their share of flops, but we'll let that slip now as this is a day of celebration for them. And, besides, sometimes it really isn't their fault the customer has a lot of money and very little taste.

Proof of their growing bussing is this new shop they're opening up in Beijing, China. The studio covers a hefty 1.4 acres of space (5,665 square meters) and has enough room for four exhibition cars. What's more, it has very famous neighbors with Brabus or Mansory owning showrooms just next door from Vilner's place.

This expansion isn't simply meant to give Vilner a new market for its products, but also to expand the company's style with the local influences. As an example, the first local project is that Harley-Davidson bike you can see in the gallery that was hand-painted in Chinese style, and the work on it took the master hundreds of man-hours.

The studio had another three cars to show for on its inauguration day, with a Mercedes-Benz SL, a MINI Cooper Cabrio and a Jaguar XJ limousine completing the lineup.

Vilner's plans of conquering the East don't stop here, the company aiming for similar events in Shanghai, Hong Kong and Guangzhou during the next three years.

If you had any more doubts about where the new world center of wealth is, you can forget about them now: forget about Dubai and the Middle East - China is where everything is happening nowadays.
