The 2013 Toyota Vios was officially unveiled on the Thai market at this year’s Bangkok show and recent rumors tell that it will be offered in Malaysia in October this year.
According to a Malaysian automotive website’s B-segment sedan listing, the new Vios may enter the local market in October 2013 at a price of RM80,313 for the base model.
The 2013 Toyota Vios comes with a bolder redesigned exterior and interior also being a bit bigger than the outgoing model, having 1,700mm in width, 4,410 in length and 1,475mm in height. Its wheelbase remained at the same 2,550mm though.
Powering the new Vios will be the same 1.5-liter 1NZ-FE that will produce 109 PS and 141 Nm of torque, which should be enough to push the 1,075 kg car.
