New Toyota RAV4 Tested in Arab Emirates by Arab Motors TV

The United Arab Emirates is a land that has risen from the sand, so it's not surprising that they buy a lot of off-roaders. Of course, power and prestige are important as well, and we think we know a car that meets all these criteria.

The new Toyota RAV4 is Toyota's answer to the mid-size SUV segment and is already available in the United Arab Emirates. The Toyota RAV4 has been on sale since 1994, and in that time, it’s evolved from a very small crossover for hairdressers into a decent sized machine.

The cheapest SUV offered by Toyota there is offered only with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and costs only AED 89,900, only $24,500 at today's exchange rates. A relative bargain, considering what you'd have to pay for it in the US.

The video below shows Kareem Deeb from Arab Motors TV reviewing the lovely new RAV4. Enjoy!

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
