The Toyota RAV4 faces some big competition in the USA, with compact crossovers like the 2014 Jeep Cherokee, Ford Escape and Honda CR-V.
The Fast Lane Car brought all these vehicles to for a comparison and since the RAV4’s price as tested matched the Jeep’s, about $27,000, we will concentrate on them more.
First of all, the guys were sad that the V6 in the RAV4 was not carried over. Also they said that it’s not a very good off-roader compared to the Cherokee. However, they were surprised by the more upscale interior materials and the fact that the Jeep comes only with front-wheel-drive for the same money, which gives the Toyota a plus.
