Having a showcase website recreated in real life seems a little crazy, but Toyota South Africa wants to break the digital barriers between its products and customers so it created such a place in the woods.
Sounds confusing? It’s not that hard to comprehend. What Toyota did, was to take the new RAV4 showcase page, a vehicle created for active people who don’t like spending time behind the computer’s screen, and made a palpable version of it scattered around a 1.8 km cycling track in a national park.

“Viewers” could use their bicycle as a cursor and navigate through the “site” by triggering infrared sensors or just hitting cardboard signs to show different features of the new RAV4 in a website-style scenery scattered around the track.

Still can’t picture that? Hit the play button bellow to see it with your eyes.
