Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion, that’s what SPECTRE stands for. A particular Aston Martin created for the movie is what the car scene in this long-expected James Bond film represents. Auto chasing, flame-spitting exhausts, and gorgeous girls is just a small part of what the most recent trailer showcases.
As you all know, Spectre has been present in Ian Fleming’s books and it's an international organization that has first formally appeared in the novel Thunderball and the film Dr. No. The 24th James Bond, this year’s Spectre is the second film in the series directed by Sam Mendes and has Daniel Craig once again taking the steering wheel.
This time around, there’s also an impressive appearance in terms of villains, with Christoph Waltz as Franz Oberhauser, the film’s antagonist. With the movie getting the last minute preparations, MGM is doing the proper promotions, thus this fresh trailer. Bond is seen taking up his role in Mexico City, right in the middle of what seems to be the annual Day of the Dead festival.
The regular car chasing scenes are more than present, with frames taken in both Italy and other mind-blowing landscapes, most of which we have previously reported of. The new clip also shows Naomie Harris and Ben Whishaw in their roles as the rebooted Moneypenny and Q respectively.
In terms of car action, we consider the Aston Martin DB10 spitting flames more than noteworthy, although there are some other exciting scenes too. We’d also like to mention that flipping a chopper that way is not possible, at least not with a regular helicopter.
