Technically speaking, the Toledo is actually a notchback, meaning it has a big boot and a hatch that opens together with the rear glass surface.

According to the official statement, the Toledo will be offered with a range of different engines. The petrol range will include a 1.2-liter and a 1.4-liter TSI unit, producing between 75 PS and 122 PS. Meanwhile, the diesel range is limited to a 1.6-liter TDI with 105 PS.

The new Toledo will launch in Spain and Portugal in November, followed by the rest of the European market in 2013.
