The VW Group is well-known for its efforts to increase the efficiency of its vehicles, which has led to technologies implemented in all the models, as well as special models that take this concept further. We are here now to focus on the new SEAT Leon, which is on its way of receiving an Ecomotive model.
The new Leon Ecomotive will come with emissions smaller than 89 grams of CO2 per km, as the vehicle is expected to match the 85 grams per km level offered by the Volkswagen Golf Bluemotion that is set to be launched in mid 2013.
The vehicle won’t come with aesthetic modifications, but it will receive technical upgrades, such as low rolling resistance tires. However, it could look a bit different to a trained eye, as it will use a few aerodynamic tweaks, in the usual manner of the company.
