Currently the fastest FWD production car ever to go round the Nurburgring, the new SEAT Leon Cupra is perhaps the coolest car ever to be made by the Spanish. With LED headlights and a 2-liter turbo engine producing 280 hp, we doubt there's a hot hatch fan in the world who isn't paying attention to it right now.
However, while SEAT engineered an athlete, it dressed it up like a librarian. There's nothing that special about it cosmetically. You don't get flared side skirts or a rear diffuser, so only the big wheels and the badging tell you this is a special sort of SEAT. This was done so that older "gentleman" buyers could blend and convince their wives this is an average family car. How did SEAT put it? "The sort of car you can go and pick up your mother-in-law from the airport."
All that is easily fixed though with a bit of vinyl wrapping. British firm Creative FX recently transformed two brand new Leon Cupras at their shop in Bromley. The pair were already slightly different in that one was a 5-door and the other a 3-door, so the colors chosen were different as well: neon orange and yellow.
Both are matte with gloss black accents, the sort of cosmetic touchups that demand a second or third look when you see them and you can check them up in the gallery below.
