New Saab 9-5 and Sony Ericsson Xperia X10

The reborn Swedish automaker announced today that its new Saab 9-5 is playing one of the main characters in Sony Ericsson's latest informercial for the Xperia X10. The two companies have teamed up to help make driving safer and released a video showing how users can connect their Xperia X10 with Saab’s infotainment system and therefore keep their hands on the wheel and eyes on the road.

The Saab stand at the 2010 Paris Auto Show will get the chance to see a demo of how the Xperia X10 connects with the new Saab 9-5 infotainment system.

Moreover, Sony Ericsson and Saab have also announced a competition for the visitors of the event. Specifically, enthusiasts have to take a photo with the subject “What’s your vision of Saab?” and a jury will then decide the overall winner, who will receive an Xperia X10 mobile phone.

Also, the best photo of each day will get a Sony Ericsson VH410 Bluetooth earphone from the GreenHeart series.

“If you are in Paris and planning on visiting the Paris Motor show, please come by our stand where you’ll be able to see a demonstration on how to set up your Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 to Saab’s infotainment-system," a company statement from Saab reads.

"With this feature you’ll be able to make calls with your handsfree-function and get easy access to your favorite tunes. Next time you’re out driving - keep your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road,”
added the automaker.
