In this recently released video, French carmaker Renault explains how the fourth-generation Clio supermini went from concept to production reality. It shows the design phase, testing, and various engineering phases, but also contains an Easter Egg.
For a short period, the video shows the Clio Sports Tourer or wagon version, which is yet to be released. The vehicle is shown on a suspension calibration testbed without any camouflage to cover it up.

The side profile is much more stylish and elegant than the Clio III version of the same car, which just looked like an elongated hatchback. The rear hatch is big and practical, and has been designed to cut through the large taillights. While the boot is closed, there is no lip to speak of.

Another nice feature is that the cool hidden door handle for the rear door, a feature first seen on the normal Clio IV.

The engine range should be identical to that seen on normal Clio that will debut in Paris, meaning that you’ll have a choice of a 0.9 TCe, a 1.2 TCe or the 90 PS 1.5-liter diesel.
