New Porsche Hybrid Model Debuting in Geneva

Porsche has become a true follower of the hybrid pathway and the carmaker is continuing to make such development steps. The company announced that it will introduce a new parallel full hybrid vehicle at the upcoming Geneva Auto Show.

The German carmaker wants to show us a new meaning of the “Porsche Intelligent Performance” philosophy, with the new development scheduled to be unveiled on 1st March.

“Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart is putting the spotlight of its presence at the 81st Geneva Motor Show on the world premiere of a parallel full hybrid model. In the wake of the success of the Cayenne S Hybrid it signals a new chapter in the Zuffenhausen company’s “Porsche Intelligent Performance“ philosophy,” stated a the press release.

Porsche’s new hybrid toy will be joined by the 918 RSR hybrid racecar concept, which is making its European debut at the event. The list of other Porsche models that will please the crowds at the company’s stand also includes the 330 hp Cayman R, which is being displayed in Europe for the first time, the 911 Black Edition, which is limited to 1,911 units and is based on the 345 hp 911 Carrera, the Boxster S Black Edition, which will only allow 987 mortals to enjoy its charms - the vehicle delivers 320 hp.
