The development of the new Porsche Cayman coupe has been going on for so long now that the car pretty much has no secrets left for us. The interior will be the same as the new Boxster, the styling will be like those of the Boxster and the engines are pretty much known by now.
According to Autonews, the 981 generation will make its debut at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show in November. Of course, Porsche likes to show its cars independently of major motor events, so likely to see the new Cayman even a moth before that.
The market debut of the long awaited coupe will take place in the spring of 2013. It’s expected the car will have a wider track, a lowered suspension and slightly increased output. It will also be a bit lighter than its predecessor.
