Kimi Raikkonen famously said that the Abu Dhabi starts with two good corners and then is a load a crap. But that doesn't mean the folks in the emirates don't like their track cars. In fact, they like them so much that Porsche launched the new GT3 at the 2013 Dubai Motor Show, which started yesterday.
475 horsepower from a naturally aspirated engine, rear wheels that steer into the corner and a 0 to 100 km/h time of just 3.5 seconds.

These are just some of the headlines that make this Porsche so special. The downside is, Porsche designed the GT3 to win all comparison and be super-fast, so there's no manual gearbox option. Instead, you get an evolution of the PDK, quicker and sharper than ever.

The GT3 is actually among the last 911 models to be launched in Dubai, since the all the Turbos are already available there.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
