When you grab yourself a vehicle like the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, all people talk about is downforce, lap times and velocity. Nevertheless, we must keep in mind the level of self-discipline required in order not to cross legal borders. Many drivers tend to forget about this ingredient and end up collecting those nasty little pieces of paper we call tickets.
This is what happens to the GT3 RS example in the video below. No, we’re not talking about a speeding fine. Instead, this Porsche was treated with the most basic of fines - the parking ticket.

The driver of this Zuffenhausen machine pulled what has to be the oldest violation in the book, leaving his track-savvy Porsche in the wrong place.

While the Porsche is wearing a German plate (the car is registered in Darmstadt, a city in the state of Hesse), we’re not sure the event took place in the supercar’s home city. For the record, Darmstadt is a bit like Germany’s Silicone Valley, bringing together high-tech companies, universities, and scientific bodies.

Returning to the fine received by the GT3 RS driver, we have to admit it’s mildly amusing to see how the Stadtpolizei (the municipal police) officer leaves the ticket on the car without even placing it in between the wiper and the windscreen.

Then again, we have to admit that, at least for us, that GT3 RS left in what appears to be a shopping area is the equivalent of a puppy making a cute face after having just torn your morning newspaper - it’s difficult to ignore that sparking clean Java Orange (the vehicle’s launch color), while the louvers on the front wings also act as attention magnets.

Oh well, it seems the aerodynamic balance of this Porsche has been affected after all, with that ticket being visible from afar.
