New Pictures of Soon-to-Be Bond Car

This is the Aston Martin One-77, the latest creation from the brand loved by the supersecret, super spy, James Bond. In a weird turn of events, right amidst the worst economic crisis since the 30s, the luxury car brands seem to be doing better than ever, while the “cars for the people” makers are struggling to keep their doors open for business.

The One-77 is a clear testimony of that fact, and today we have some more shots to drool over until the thing comes out on the market. The first glimpse we got was at the Paris Motor Show a few weeks back, but now we can get a better look from all sides.

And looking at these photos it's clear that the One-77 has managed to keep all the design features that make an Aston cool which is not too shabby. And we're not the only ones to say this because so far this model is sold out.

That huge front grille seems a bit bigger than on the Vantage and the DB9 and it looks cool embedded between those air extractors that mold into the headlamps. The cool thing here has got to be the blackened out headlamps which is something typical of tuners, not a stock car. They manage to offer a more aggressive to the car.

The back of the car is even cooler, with that one-piece taillight, reminiscent of 80s Japanese sports cars but still adding to the posh attitude of the Aston. The rear diffuser takes up a good portion of the back end, probably in order to help the car cope better with aerodynamics. The center exhaust is a nice touch from our point of view as is keeps the symmetry of the car in perfect balance.

Anyone care to bet that this car will be the star of the next James Bond movie? Here's hoping they don't wreck it like they did its predecessor.
