The Ferrari F12 Berlinetta is the replacement for the 599 we were all hoping for. It’s as powerful as the titans, as fast as Hermes and as beautiful as Aphrodite… if you’re 12 years old. No matter what they ask for this god of supercars, it’s going to be a bargain. We say that because we don’t really know how much it costs, though it’s expected to fetch about a quarter of a million euros.
Nor do we know how well it handles on the track. But a few select mortals have gotten the chance to test its metal at the international test drive event in Italy. Ferrari has just released a fresh batch of photos and a video, taken at or around their famous Maranello track.
Until the replacement for the Enzo arrives, the F12 is the most powerful Ferrari ever, with a 6.2-liter V12 delivering a scarcely believable 740 PS and 690Nm (509 lb-ft). It’s also rich with the best leather in the world and should be a better GT than the 458 Italia.
