French carmaker Peugeot has just announced official British market pricing for the new compact hatchback, the 2013 5-door 308. This car makes a move towards the premium side of things, with LED headlights fitted to mid-grade cars, but the cheapest new 308 is quite affordable.
Prices start at GBP14,495 for the Access model, which features air conditioning, remote central door locking, cruise control with speed limiter, DAB digital radio, LED daylight running lights and Bluetooth connectivity.
However, we'd point out that the Vauxhall Astra is GBP12,995 and the Ford Focus is GBP13,995.
