If you wanted to end your weekend with freshly photoshopped images of French cars, here’s you chance, as carmaker Peugeot has tasted the upcoming 301 compact sedan onto every sort of background it could think of.
Under the new naming system, all Peugeot will be named with either a ‘1’ or an ‘8’ at the end, signifying budget or premium cars respectively. Can you guess which one the 301 is? As a result, it will likely be bought by a considerable number of people from countries with bad infrastructure.
And supposedly the 301 has been designed to cope with everything. “In total, many tens of thousands of kilometers have been run in several continents,” the automaker says.
The 301 sedan will be available with a limited engine range consisting of a 3-cylinder 1.2-liter unit with 70 hp, the 1.6-liter HDi diesel, in its lowest power output of 90 hp, the range topper, the 1.6-liter VTi engine with 115 hp.
