New Nissan Qashqai Rendered as a 3-Door

Nowadays, crossovers don't have a sense of humor at all. They've got to be family-friendly, dog-friend, city-friendly and pedestrian-friendly. The days of the little Suzuki Samurai which double as a beach buggy are long gone.

Nissan has invested heavily into the second generation Qashqai, revealed last week, and is unlikely to ever receive a compromised 3-door version like old crossover SUVs used to have. But the internet loves 3-door photoshop conversions, and so, here's your Nissan Qashqai 3-door rendering of the day.

As a family vehicle, this makes absolutely no sense, but of course Nissan made the Murano CrossCabriolet, which made even less sense. Maybe they would have put their hard-earned yen to better use making a Sport Activity Vehicle that people want to buy rather than have to buy.
