Australia's TAC (Transport Accident Commission Victoria) is well-known for the blunt way they put things when it comes to showing road users how dangerous some of their actions are. Here's a new video campaign form TAC, promoting the importance of constantly training the motorcycle skills.
No gore and violent impacts this time, however, as TAC went for a softer approach. Instead of depicting the gruesome outcome of errors and failing to obey road regulations, TAC shows a group of riders in the glorious afternoon sun and all the obstacles in their way vanishing.
This includes a motor home, and a tractor cutting them off, dirt around a corner and incoming cars cutting through the bend. The voice-over also adds that "when the unexpected does happen, we come off second best" and I believe these are magic words.
We'd all better be more aware of how fragile we are when on two wheels and act accordingly.
